Step 15 - Add Load Cases

We are now ready to start adding loads and own weight to the project. Before we can add applied loads such as point- and linear loads, we need to create the load cases. We will create 2 simple linear static load cases for this exercise as follow:

1. Select any cell in the Input Workbook to active the contextual ribbon
2. Navigate to the 'Load Cases' sheet
3. Click 'Add'
4. From the context ribbon, enter 'DL' for Name, and check the 'Contains Self-Weight' check box
5. Click 'Apply and Add New'
6. For the next case, enter 'LL' as the name, uncheck 'Contains Self-Weight' check box
7. Click 'Apply'
